Duluth
He loves to pick the flowers and then blow on them because his daddy taught him that the seeds will fly all over.
We're working on the holding hands while walking thing. A skill he has no patience for.
Practicing rock throwing with both hands. Lefty or righty?
Kicking back on the swing looking over at his daddy.

Visit to Duluth
Brody and I went to Duluth for the weekend. Saturday we met up with Grandpa Steve and Grandma Cindy and went to the lake for a picnic in the afternoon, the weather was so nice. Sunday we went back to the lake and met up with some friends, the weather was even hotter! Brody learned how to throw rocks into the water, a very important skill!
More pictures later this week.

Hot Hot Hot
When Brody was "little", Barry went on a Harley trip West and bought this t-shirt for Brody. At the time we laughed at the 2T size and now I think I have to pack it away already. Did I mention Brody can swing his little leg up high enough to get on the furniture unassisted as well as in and out of the tub? Yeah, that's not an achievement I'm particularly excited about! How can those short little legs get that high?
Better have a closer look to see what's really going on.
Filling up the water table, still in his PJs and everything.
We went to a nearby park to play on the toddler playground a couple of weekends ago with Barry and Kelly. He liked the big kid slides more!
This is before he could swing his leg up to get on the couch, back when he had to be creative and climb on other toys first.
He's taken ladies!
In summary, I think we have a climber on our hands. He thought the water table was more enjoyable when he was on top of it.

Hot Day
I gave Claire a piece of watermelon, she took a bite, then went to find Brody and share with him. I noticed a missing section of the green stuff and after seeing the picture below, I think I know who was to blame.
Brody warming up with Omi after playing in the pool.
I looked out at the lake and there was Barry driving the speed boat in circles on the lake with Sue as a passenger. Both survived without getting sick, so I'll call it a success.
The kiddos enjoying the kiddie pool full of plastic veggies. It probably goes without saying, but Claire stayed in until we forced her cold little body out! (I should probably mention the super cute swimsuit she had on...for about 10 seconds, before deciding it was more of a bath time situation than pool time!)
It was a hot day and we visited Aunt Sue's place at Lake Byllesby to enjoy the day. Tomorrow I'll post pictures from the pontoon ride.
