Webster Harvest Days

We spent some time on Saturday at Webster Harvest Days and the bike show. Sue won for stock bike, Sean won for loudest pipes, and Brody just had a cute Power Wheels Harley that he's too little to ride just yet!

Green Veggies and Bath Fun

Brody tried either peas or green beans (I'm not positive cause Grandma Annie made them) and was not a fan. It was quite hilarious to watch him grossed out by them but not know how to spit them out! He also got to try out a new tub chair that he really loved. It let him sit up and splash even more!
Barry had his first week of medical school. He said all of the orientation got a bit boring. This week he starts biochem and I can honestly say that I'm glad it's him and not me because biochem was my least favorite subject.

We Love Our Little Man

We sure do love our little man! The question is, what color eyes does/will he have? I (Bethanie) remember being excited about meeting Brody for the first time and finding out what he looks like. I also remember thinking that I was really excited to find out what color eyes he was going to have even though I knew it would be a bit before we'd really have a clue. Well 7 months later and I'm clueless. They're not blue like mine at all, but they're not really brown either. What do you think (here are a few close up shots, plus a random shot of him in duck boots cause I like it)? I don't know why, I'm just an eye person and I so badly want to know what color Brody's eyes will be.
Barry had his first week of medical school in Duluth. It was orientation so kind of boring and long. I lucked out and had my sister stay with me for the first week he was gone! We sure got in a lot of romantic comedy movies!

Bluff Valley 2010

The whole gang (Mom, Dad, Sean, Heather, Josh, Whitney, Claire, Barry, Bethanie, Brody and even Audrey joined me and Barry for a bit) all camped at Bluff Valley again this year. We had nice weather (except for the storm and 4 inches of rain that led to a flooded river), played some games, enjoyed some food, watched the babies swim in the little pool, and braved the flooded river (well some of us did).

Weekend In Ely

The Three B's headed up to Ely for the weekend and an impromptu Park family reunion. We had a great time soaking in the sun, playing in the water, and relaxing at the new house! It was great to see so much family and for them to all meet Broden for the first time! Bethanie water-skied for the first time in 13 years; I managed to destroy my shoulders, too. Grandpa Steve and Grandma Cindy got lots of Brody time and smiles were had all around!

Happy 6th Month Birthday Brody!

Today Brody is 6 months old! He loves his cereal and oatmeal so next week we're starting sweet potatoes. He has 2 lower teeth that are pretty solidly in and working on others. He sleeps fairly well at night, but still gets up once around 4am with his 7pm bedtime. He loves standing (with help) and would spend an entire day in a johnny jumper or jumperoo if we let him. He is doing really well sitting up now unless you distract him with a toy or something he wants to get at.
We went to the farm today and took his 6 month pictures, maybe by his 5 year birthday we'll be good enough to consider them "professional photos."
