Maverick liked the little wild flowers.

I remember these toys from back in the day!  Brody enjoyed them just as much as I did.

Brody loved fishing. Here he flung his most recent fish catch right into Aimee's face, whoops!

Brody went up to Ely for a few days by himself and then Barry and I joined him with Maverick for the weekend. The boys had a lot of fun as usual!

4th of July weekend we had a wedding in the cities for Barry's cousin, Beth. It was a beautiful wedding and reception. Brody had a blast! He danced, played hide & seek, and stayed up way too late along with Maverick. I was hoping to take a picture of the four of us dressed up so nicely outside, but it didn't work out. I did have a nice dress on though, I swear!

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July! We watched the Lonsdale fireworks and Brody loved them! We spent all day on the 4th at the lake enjoying a perfect day of fun and gorgeous weather!

Best $1.99 spent!

$1.99 sprinkler and whatever toy readily available = tons of afternoon outdoor fun!

1st we threw some object into the path of the sprinkler...

then Brody had to go get it while trying to avoid the moving spray (notice the small dolphin toy here instead of the huge bucket above).

To switch it up, we raced Brody to see who could get the toy first without getting wet.  As an adult, it's difficult to win against a care-free 3 year old!

Shocking news, Maverick likes to climb.  I'm cursing those deck stairs now.

Even in a pool he likes to climb in and out, in and out.

I love a good warm summer day spent relaxing, having fun, and enjoying water! I think my kids do too, phew!
