Last few happenings of maternity leave...

 With a little help, Claire and Brody put together blocks in color stacks one day while I was still on leave.

A quick photo of Audrey with Maverick before she flew back to WA 2 1/2 weeks ago.  Trust me, Maverick is just sleeping, he really likes that position which is great except when his drool globs land on the floor.

Ely part 2

 We went on a hike up the Echo Trail, Brody fell in a little water (shocking) and Brody had a snack (also shocking).

 Look, Barry and I have independent fun every once in awhile.  We broke out our bows and did a little target practice.  I forgot how much fun I have with archery!

 I bought a new carrier that will carry Brody or Maverick.  Brody liked trying it out and getting a "piggy back ride".  Maverick likes sleeping in it.

 Brody LOVES being outside and helping with gardening!  He's helping water the garden.  He also really liked cutting flowers:)

 Brody went swimming 10 minutes after he fell in the lake.  He's not sure about lake swimming yet, but he really likes swimming in pools.

Ely Visit Part 1

 During medical school in Duluth, Barry stayed with the Hieb family.  These are two of their grandsons; Kate's 2 1/2 yr old, Hendy and Anna's 4 yr old, Will.  Growing up Barry and his brothers had a lot of fun with the Hieb girls; Anna, Kate, and Betsy, so it's fun to see the next generation play.

 Shirleen Hieb and her newest grandson, Oskar and Grandma Cindy with her newest grandson, Maverick.  These boys are 4 days apart, while Brody and Hendy are 1 month apart.

 The boys had a blast hanging out in Grandpa Steve's boat.  Luckily the keys weren't in it or they would have taken a spin on Burntside.

 The boys met up again to play on the new playground in Ely.  I'm pretty sure they were building a nest with sticks in this drinking fountain.

We headed up to Ely a couple of weeks ago and spent an entire week relaxing while we were all off.  We had a lot of fun adventures as you can see!  More photos to come as I get time.
