Friday Fun with Daddy

Helping with the garden.

Helping get the mail and loading it up in his trike.

Taking a stroll around the block in style!

Brody's new cheese smile. Why do they close their eyes during the super-cheesy smile?

The way he loves our phones you'd think we used them nonstop. Quite honestly though on our family plan of 700 minutes total, we don't even use half each month!

It's amazing the amount of fun that can be squeezed in from the time daddy arrives home on Friday from Duluth and when I get home from work!

Sever's Corn Maze

The B. Park Family

Brody helping Barry with the corn maze navigation.

Feeding the goats one corn kernel at a time, poor goats!

I was surprised that he liked feeding the animals. Jaedyn is helping him out.

Feeding the fallow deer, making mama proud since I inspect deer farms!

Brody's first experience with a juice box. There were a lot of "mmmmm" sounds and equally entertaining play with the juice box once it was empty.

Brody loves "tac-tors", this one looks just like the one "papa" has, only papa keeps his at the "fom" (farm).

Gabby giving Brody a smooch:)

Milking the fake cow with Jaedyn. I think he was surprised that water actually came out!

Brody didn't really understand the point of these things, he tried climbing out instead.

Giant slide! We didn't get to the giant slide until the end of the day, but he smiled and it was worth the wait.

"CHEESE"

We had such a fun time at Sever's Corn Maze. There was so much to do that it was well worth the splurge. A person could spend all day there with kids. We even saw pig races.

Sever's Corn Pit

This weekend we met up with our friends from Hinckley, Katie, Shawn, Jaedyn and Gabby. We went to Sever's Corn Maze and had a blast! We could have easily spent a day their exploring. As always, I have too many pictures to post. I'll start with the corn pit and post more later.

Fun Week

Max, Andrew, Brody, Claire

Max does "so-big" or patty cake, I can't remember.

Brody and Claire having fun wrestling with Whitney.

Next summer, there'll be no stopping him! These things should really come with remote parental control breaks.

Kitchen

I understand this isn't terribly interesting for many of you, but I know Barry and Audrey have been missing Brody and wanting to see him play with his kitchen. Enjoy!

Duluth & Kitchen

First you load up the microwave so things can get "hot". Things include...plates, watermelon, cups, tea pot, ball, and sometimes PJs according to Heather!

Next you turn the microwave "on" with the buttons and a few sound effects.

Then you turn the oven on and hope that the doll is not in there!

That hat, those jammies, and those cheekers....it's a package that's hard to resist!

Sporting the UW hoodie from Audrey and hanging on tight to the moose from Kelly.

Jameson was better at the hugging than Brody.

We went to Duluth for the weekend. I didn't get very many pictures during our visit. Brody had a mini-playdate with Jameson, he is the son of one of Barry's classmates and the two kids are the same age.
Thanks to my friend, Brody has a kitchen to play with and he absolutely loves it! Thank you to Katie and her girls for lending me their play kitchen! I took video of him playing with it and hopefully I can upload it this week.

Adventures on the Home Front

I have a bin packed up of stuff that Brody has outgrown. He loves this bin and is constantly unpacking it and pulling out the orange hat that is too small!

From our bedroom he got his tiny hat and daddy's huge flip-flops. I guess he's off to the beach in his PJs.

Future dentist?

Sunday at the Lake & Happy Birthday to Omi

Celebrating Omi's birthday at the lake a day early.

19 months old, the perfect age for tubing, right?

Papa & Brody deep in thought.

Great Aunt Sue and one good looking toddler in some smoking shades!

Great Aunt Bonnie, it took him about a minute to have her wrapped around his finger :)

We spent some time at Lake Byllesby on Sunday, it was such a nice day outside! Brody had lots of great adventures. He played in the pool, played on the water table, and even went tubing for the first time.

Labor Day Weekend in Ely

Driving the house boat. Brody got to go just him and grandpa on the speed boat to pick up the house boat. Such a big boy!

Great grandma Marian and Brody checking out a butterfly in the garden.

Enjoying a peach and "more-more" peach. Ate it just like an apple, yum!

Helping with laundry. As you can see Brody was super helpful in that department.

Picking basil with grandpa in the garden.

Picking more basil with grandma.

Running down to the lake.

Hugging the canoe or banging on it to hear the echo, I'm not really sure. I know grandpa was excited about this one! I see paddling in Brody's future.

Brody & Mama

Brody & Daddy

Helping vacuum-gotta start 'em young!

We had a nice long weekend in Ely, a great ending to the week Grandma Cindy spent down in the cities babysitting Brody. The weather was so crisp in Ely that it really felt like fall was near.
