Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! This past week has been busy. Last weekend Sean and Heather came up last minute and got to see chunky Brody! He fell asleep all cozy in Auntie Heather's arms, so he must like her:) This week there wasn't anything out of the ordinary in terms of excitement, oh wait, my cousin, Jesse had her baby! Wahoo! It's a boy and Andrew Paul was 8 # 14 oz, we cannot wait for him and Brody to have future play dates.
Yesterday I went to Lonsdale's city wide garage sales and we found a ton of deals....clothes and toys for Brody. Today is Mother's Day and we spent it down at the farm with my parents and then at Grandma Mieska's for Sunday supper. Brody got to swing in the baby swing for the first time and he seemed pretty content. It was a bit chilly, so the ride didn't last long.
Brody is smiling and talking all of the time. I found him a Bumbo chair at a sale and it's so fun to have him sit up and try to hang on to toys. He's getting so much better at finding his fists and hanging on to things like his burp cloth or little toy.
He's sleeping soundly in Barry's arms right now, blissful!

I had to include this picture because it's just hilarious all around and I can only imagine what they're all thinking... Brody: "I think I'm going to be sick." Claire: "Dude, keep it together for the photo, jeez kid, you're such a baby." Whitney: "Um, oh no." Josh: "Smile. Hmm, I get the feeling I'm moments away from getting spit up all over me."
