Ely part 2

Brody helping Grandpa Steve start the fire for roasting marshmallows.

 S'mores!

We went on a hike up the Echo Trail, Brody fell in a little water (shocking) and Brody had a snack (also shocking).

Look, Barry and I have independent fun every once in awhile.  We broke out our bows and did a little target practice.  I forgot how much fun I have with archery!

Driving the boat.  I have a feeling Brody will be driving the boat all by himself all too soon.

 "I got the worms!!"

Mav chillin like it's his job.

Fishing with Grandpa Steve.  When he caught a fish he did not want it near him!  He did like the worms though.

 Dinner on the house boat.

I bought a new carrier that will carry Brody or Maverick.  Brody liked trying it out and getting a "piggy back ride".  Maverick likes sleeping in it.

Big brother holding little brother and smiling?  It can't be!

Brody took this photo, nice job Brody!

Brody LOVES being outside and helping with gardening!  He's helping water the garden.  He also really liked cutting flowers:)

Brody driving one of the boats with daddy.

Brody catching fish with Grandma Cindy.  I don't think they caught any, but they sure went through a lot of worms.

Brody kayaking with Grandpa Steve.  He didn't move or wiggle so they didn't tip over.

Brody went swimming 10 minutes after he fell in the lake.  He's not sure about lake swimming yet, but he really likes swimming in pools.

Mav catching a nap in the shade with Grandma Cindy

Barry showing off his water skiing skills.

  1. Does little Brody have any idea what a lucky boy he is? What a fabulous place to get to go to, SO MANY adventures! Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Steve seem to have endless energy for him. The pics are gorgeous, a couple of precious ones with Grandma, and Grandpa always seem to look so patient with teaching Brody the ropes! I asked Brody this week where Grandma Cindy was and he looked at me very seriously and said, "with Grandpa Steve"!!
