New Hair Cut

So this isn't really about the hair cut because all we did was trim around the ears and in the back. What's hilarious is that Barry took a blow dryer and dried Brody's hair. Try not to laugh at the outcome, I dare you!

Tractors to Haul Hay

Ok, video number two! In reality, I'm just procrastinating walking home, since it's cold out and there's icy snow on the ground. That, and the UMD wireless uploads very fast!

Brody loves his new tractor. It's a red Farmall, just like Papa has! It's even got a little wagon you can hitch up to haul 'hay bales' (green foam blocks). We need to save this video for 10 years from now, to show him how much he used to LOVE tractors...before he had to help out on the farm!

Halloween Cupcakes

So I know it's a little late, but between our busy schedules and being VERY amateur video editors, we finally got the Cupcake video up. They came in a little kit from Aunt Aimee and Uncle Zach. It was one of the best after-nap surprises ever! Thanks Zach & Aimee!

So much to do, so little time...

First, check my heart sounds. "dup, dup...dup, dup" A young medical professional in the making.

Then watch tractor videos with daddy. "tractor, Tractor, TRAAAACTORRRRRRRRRRR!"

Next play with mini-tractors just like papa's new tractor. Brody kept the blue one, only because blue is the only color he knows and can say right now. It sounds something like "b-ewe". He was nice enough to share and give Claire the red one since she doesn't have a tractor yet.

And finally, brush our teeth. He asks to "teeth" whenever he's in the bathroom. It'll be interesting when he progresses to 2 or more word questions and sentences. I often wondered how parents understand what little kids are saying, then I had Brody. In one word I can usually tell what he wants, how is that possible? The only thing it took me forever to decipher was his request for milk. After many 15 minute sessions of confusion, I have learned that "dolt" means that Brody wants milk. You can understand why I was confused here, eh?

When you're 21 months old it's the simple pleasures in life; num-num, teeth, tractor, dolt, papa, GG, kitchen, moo, and many more! Yesterday Brody had a visit from grandma Cindy and grandpa Steve. He had some cookies after dinner and kept wanting "more, more". After convincing him that he was done with cookies for the night (it was 9pm), we all told him he could have more tomorrow. So today when they came back it wasn't long before he was asking them for some cookies. Cracks me up how quickly they learn!

Sunday Farm Day

I can neither confirm nor deny that Max had a taste of the mini frozen yogurt cones!

Sunday we went to farm to have lunch and Josh was there with Claire and Max. We had a fun day hanging out and the kids had fun playing. Claire and Brody road the Barbie jeep one last time before we put it away for the winter.

Trick or Treat

I was sad to miss Brody's trick or treating this year since it was the first time he could walk and had any concept of what was happening. Luckily Omi, Papa, Auntie Heather ("ya-ya"), and Uncle Sean (aka Paco, "Papo") were there to take him around! Brody had such a great day today! He spent 2 hours in the morning with Papa feeding the cows on the farm. He had so much fun that he took a 3 hour nap in the afternoon until Claire came to visit him at the farm and had to wake him up! He had a visit from Josh, Whitney, Claire and Max at the farm. Then he got to go trick or treating around the countryside to see Grandma Camilla, Grandpa Don, and the aunts/uncles along Chester Avenue. I hear that he really got into it once he saw that people were putting stuff in his bag. It goes without saying that he got a cookie from Grandma Camilla! After that he went to Lonsdale to visit Paco and Heather and then went trick or treating in their circle at about 4 places. It was fun to see the pictures and I was happy to hear how much fun he had! He was the cutest little Zoo Keeper on the block! If you've ever lived in the country, you know it doesn't take long to fill up a bag with gifts, treats, and stuffed animals on Halloween!
