Maverick had his 2 month check up last Monday, July 30th. In true Maverick fashion, he did really well with the 4 shots plus oral vaccine! He is 11# and 23" long. I think he's about the 25% for weight and 50% for height. Brody at 8 weeks was 12# 10 oz and at 10 weeks he was 13# 1oz, but also 23" long. It's funny how Brody's body type is exactly like Barry's, but Maverick seems to be more like me. Maverick's eyes are still blue, a bluer blue than Brody ever had. It's hard to say if they'll stay blue.
Maverick continues to be a great baby. He's usually pretty mellow unless his diaper really needs to be changed or he's really hungry and even then, if you pick him up and console him he can often forget that he's hungry and goes right back to sleep. With some exceptions, he often eats around 8pm and then goes to sleep for the night, getting up around 3am to eat and then again around 6am. He still sleeps A LOT! Omi warns me that I better not let him get used to being held so much before daycare starts. He's such a snacker (like his mama), so perhaps that's why he's 11# and so much different than Brody. He falls asleep right away once he starts eating. He better fix that soon too because feeding a sncaker constantly is like chasing your tail!
