Arizona Part 1

Even though our trip to Arizona started with a 6 hour plane delay, Brody was a real trooper that whole day of travel!  We could not have asked for a better week of pure warmth and sunshine!  We visited Saguaro Lake, Tortilla Flatts, Organ Stop Pizza (after a bit Brody really loved it and was dancing to the music), swam everyday, and had lots of fun.  I will post Arizona Part 2 later which will be all of the swimming pictures.
Thanks to GG for being a great host.  Brody slept at night and took naps like an absolute champ.  Every afternoon GG stayed at her home while Brody napped for 2-2 1/2 hours so that Barry and I could go enjoy relaxing time by the pool.

Audrey's Visit

Audrey was in MN for a visit the week before we went to Arizona.  Friday we went to the zoo and grilled out on the deck.  It was such a nice day to be at the zoo, to have a picnic outside at the zoo, and to enjoy our deck doing projects outside!

Pictures of our Arizona visit last week will be coming soon...I have to find time to weed through the 473 pictures that were taken before I post!

Outside at the Zoo

On Sunday we went to the zoo.  It was too nice outside not to!  We saw all of the outdoor animals, a nice break from the winter visits.  We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed the sunshine!  It was a great weekend for sure!

Flying a Kite

On Saturday it was a nice and windy day out so we took the opportunity to fly a kite at the farm.  "Papa fly kite up high" is what Brody will tell you if you ask him about it  We were reading the Snoopy Alphabet book before bed tonight and when we got to 'K' with a picture of a kite, this is what he remembered.

Cute Cousins

There was a time when we would probably beg Claire and Brody to hold hands for a cute picture, but Friday afternoon they held hands all on their own and it was the cutest sight!  Soon enough I am sure Max will be in there too.
