"Camping"

After our Bluff Valley camping trip was canceled, we spent the weekend at Lake Byllesby and had a great time enjoying the weather! The pictures speak for themselves.

More Splash Pad Fun

Sunday we went to the splash pad in Burnsville. We met up with Josh, Whitney, Claire, Max, Jesse, Ben, and Andrew. All of the kids had fun. Max loves sitting in the water. Brody has no fear of anything. Andrew was unsure for the first 5 minutes and then had no fear. Claire was a bit more timid, but had fun just the same! It was a hot day, but it's nice to be standing in cool water.

Great Aunt Sue and Brody. He did not like the sand on his feet (check out his facial expression). He did a little better after awhile, it helped once he had his shoes on. Can't blame the guy, I'm sure sand feels weird when you're 1 1/2 years old!

Another Week of Fun

A water table is really best experienced from the inside or the top I guess you could say!

King of the world! Wearing his Dr. Seuss One Fish Two Fish Converse All Star shoes from Omi. Brody loves shoes...spend a day or even an hour with him and he'll tell you to put your shoes on or off or his shoes on or off way too many times to count! It's cute, except that it's now nearing the point of annoying. Good thing I enjoy shoes :)

He's getting better at sitting long enough to read a story or at least a few pages. We're back to reading stories before bedtime, yay!

Uncle Zach is in town working so he stopped by again this week to visit. We made green chicken, yum, and Brody got to play with his Uncle Zach for awhile.

Overall we had a great week. More pictures to come from a visit to the lake and the splash pad.

Splashing Around at the Zoo

Brody doesn't know that kid, but he so badly wanted to play with him!

Brody and I went to the Minnesota Zoo with Whitney, Claire, and Max. Claire and Brody had the most fun in the splash pad! That's pure joy on their faces :)

Splash Pad

These are from our visit to the splash pad a couple of weeks ago. I finally got them off of the old camera! The kids had a blast there, even Max! It's exhausting just to watch them try to climb all over the rocks :)
